WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: Launching a rocket and operating satellites requires a symphony of multiple teams, multiple sites, and multiple complex systems working together towards mission success. Software drives every aspect of this, and Rocket Lab has a large number of complex software products. This role will support the development, build, test and deployment of all vehicle , ground and simulation software across both Electron and Neutron.

To excel in this role you will need to balance a deep technical understanding of software build, test and deployment processes for a distributed embedded system with the ability to work with many stakeholders to find best-for-business solutions. YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a software development environment with major focus on build, continuous integration and deployment of software. Experience with embedded software development and associated tools.

Linux and Windows system administration Experience with Git, Redmine, Jira Experience with Team City, GitLab CI or other build system Experience with make, Bazel, cmake, automake THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Scrum Docker or Kubernetes Experience with web and cloud software build and deployment Network security Project Management Chef, Puppet, Salt, Transform or other provisioning system If the above sounds like you, apply now!
