We have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Solutions Architect to join us on an 18-month fixed term contract. You'll be joining us at the start of a large technology transformation, where you will be primarily developing the architecture for one of our insurance domains and providing implementation guidance for solutions and systems. We are migrating away from legacy systems and processes and implementing new cloud architectures to enabling new ways of doing business.

You will develop future state and interim state architectures by collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, and analysing business requirements, constraints, and industry best practices Deliver domain solution architectures to meet programme delivery goals and ensure the timely enablement of other transformational workstreams Design fully secure architectures and solutions to protect our members, our people, our business, its brand and its assets Design highly available and resilient cloud architectures that can scale dynamically to accommodate changing workloads and user demands.

Implement redundancy, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the implementation phase of projects. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that the architectural design is translated into successful implementation Work closely with technology partners and third-party vendors to seamlessly integrate their solutions into our cloud architecture. This includes conducting thorough evaluations of their technologies, overseeing pilot projects, and ensuring that their products or services meet our technical and security standards Assist in negotiating and managing contracts and agreements, focusing on aligning partner and vendor offerings with our business needs while ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness Optimize cloud resources to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
