Kia Ora Applications for this role has now Closed. THE ROLE This is an additional role to our current team with the opening of our new theatre in January and also broadening of our services. Its not often that we have a position like this available, so we are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to the Sterile Services community.

We are looking for a Team member who understands the demands of a busy SSD in an operating theatre environment . Our operating theatres cover a multitude of different specialties including having an Endoscopy Unit. Our SSD department is also involved with loans equipment.

Duties include the collection, decontamination, sorting, packing/wrapping and sterilisation of reusable medical devices across a variety of Sterilisation Methods, Steam, Sterrad and Endoscopy Soluscope Sprint. This is a part time role of 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) which will be rostered on varying days over the weekdays Monday to Friday.

ABOUT YOU We have a very stable and experienced team who have enjoyed working together for quite some time.
