The Farm The farms winters, 2,100 terminal ewes, 300 R2 heifers and 300 R2 bulls Overall stocking rate of 12.6 SU/ha A team of two; Stock Manager, Shared Junior Shepherd As the Stock Manager, you'll work with the Farm Owner to lead and oversee the farm, the Stock Manager role is pivotal in driving the farms success through: Effective stock and pasture management.

Robust animal health and welfare standards. Maintaining and motivating an engaged team. Applying operational excellence in all farm activities.

Fully utilising the farms resources and infrastructure. Eight Mile Farms are searching for an individual who embodies a blend of experience, skill, and passion for drystock farming including: Two years of experience in a similar role. Exceptional skills in stockmanship, animal health, and farm management.

Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. An ability to adapt and thrive in both team and independent environments. Attention to detail when managing farm machinery and equipment.
