Krero m te tranga - About the role Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Kaiarawhiti Ahupae Tauira - Student Administration Coordinator for Te Pukenga Wai - Faculty of Education, Health, and Psychological Sciences and Te Whanga a Manaia - Faculty of Science and Engineering based at the Kelburn Campus as part of Ttoko - Centre for Student Success. The Kaiarawhiti Ahupae Tauira - Student Administration Coordinator is responsible for providing high quality, efficient, accurate, appropriate, and timely student holistic and administration support to students and the Student Success team, within the framework of the Universitys academic policies, regulations, and operating procedures. Key responsibilities: Coordination and processing of student administration procedures associated with late withdrawal, transfer of credit, academic progress.

Coordination and processing of enrolments for the designated disciplines. Accurate data entry into Banner, the Student Information Management System and maintain effective records of student engagement in the Student Relationship Management system (CRM). Responding to enquires through team inbox.

Key requirements: A tertiary degree, or comparable experience in a similar role. Demonstrated client centred approach and service delivery skills. Highly developed oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage a busy and varied workload and prioritise effectively. Demonstrated experience of engaging successfully with students and staff within an academic environment. Ability to work effectively in a team.
