This facility is located in a beautiful villa in Nelson and offers 24-hour care. We support individuals experiencing mental health distress that prevents them from staying in their home environment and you will play a vital role in providing short-term crisis respite support.
The shift is Sunday to Thursday 11am to 7:30am in Nelson. A meal is provided for overnight awake staff. Youll also: Focusing on the individuals needs and providing culturally safe practice Relevant administrative tasks, comprehensive notes and effective handover, and supporting and collaborating with your colleagues Youll need to be prepared to support our clients to do whatever it takes using a recovery model Whilst the whai ora you support are sleeping you will complete tasks such as cleaning and maintaining things like filing, first aid kits, emergency kits and preparation of paperwork.
About You | Mu For this role, you must hold a Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or an equivalent qualification or be currently working towards it). To check equivalency go to https://www.tewhatuora.

Some mental health experience is needed A full New Zealand drivers licence You must hold a current comprehensive first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
