Our commitment to personalised support is reflected in our 'whatever it takes' wairua and spirit. The role | M tnei tranga mahi This is a permanent part-time position working Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10.30am 7pm, based in Blenheim.

We are a 6 bed, single staffed, 24/7 residential recovery mental health and addictions group home in Blenheim. As a Support Worker youll walk alongside whai ora to achieve their individual goals and increase knowledge and motivation around daily living tasks, interpersonal relationships, encouraging people to participate in community activities and provide intentional support to all. Youll also: Focus on the individuals needs and provide culturally safe practice Conduct relevant administrative tasks, produce comprehensive notes, provide effective handovers, and support and collaborate with your colleagues Youll need to be prepared to support our clients to do whatever it takes - cleaning, budgeting, cooking, gardening or helping out with everyday household tasks Attend appointments and advocate for people About you | Mu Youll have a non-judgemental attitude and an ability to build relationships quickly.

Youll also; Hold a full New Zealand drivers licence Hold a first aid certificate or willing to obtain one Preferably you hold the L4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent) or currently studying towards this qualification. Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi. If supporting people on their recovery journey sounds like you then apply now.
