As a mental health provider, we specialize in supporting older clients with mental health needs.

Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Brightwater, our location offers stunning views of vineyards and the Richmond Ranges. Join us as a Support Worker on our Friday and Saturday shift working 7am to 3.30pm in our Brightwater, Nelson residential service.

Preferably youll the Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification, or equivalent. Youll work alongside individuals to support their recovery, enhance their wellbeing, and help them live a meaningful life. This could involve tasks like assisting with meal preparation and cleaning up.

It's all about making a positive difference in their lives. Youll also Focus on the individuals needs and provide culturally safe practice Complete relevant administrative tasks, take comprehensive notes, provide effective handovers to the next shift, and support and collaborate with your colleagues Medication support when required Supporting people with independent daily living skills cooking, cleaning, gardening and everyday household tasks To be healthier and set goals Occasional personal cares may be required About You | Mu Youll work in a recovery focused way and have impeccable attention to detail. Youll also Preferably youll hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent) Preferably youll have experience in aged care (but not essential) Youll also hold a current comprehensive first aid certificate covering units 6400, 6401 and 6402 or be willing to obtain one within 3 months of employment Youll have a cultural awareness, knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi Position Description : https://www.
