Our department makes major contributions to the undergraduate and postgraduate education of students in science, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, medical lab sciences, nutrition, and physical education. We also have a number of internationally recognised research groups lead by experienced academic staff.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for up to three Professional Practice Fellows / Teaching Fellows to join our department to work alongside our academic staff. The role/Te mahi A Professional Practice Fellow / Teaching Fellow is an academic staff member who supports the teaching in professional and biomedical science courses in anatomy related subjects. As a Professional Practice Fellow/Teaching Fellow within our Department, you will: Be required to contribute to biomedical science, clinical, and/or professional teaching programmes.
Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate level teaching and contribute to the continuing development of the programmes within the Department. Contribute to the Departments academic goals by applying and sharing expert knowledge in a professional discipline or departmental and university service role. Facilitate learning.

Your skills and experience/K pkeka me k wheako The successful applicant will be expected to: Hold or be working towards a PhD, MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery) or similar higher research/academic qualification. May be working towards registration in their profession (if a health professional).
Have a proven teaching record and a passion for teaching anatomy-related content to biomedical science or health professional students. Have effective communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to create a motivating environment for staff and students. Provide evidence of an ability to work well with students and staff from differing academic and cultural backgrounds.
