ABOUT THE TEAM As the Team Lead for Mechanical Design, you will be a key member of the engineering leadership team on the Electron Program.

Mechanical Design is one of four core engineering teams responsible for the design and development of Electron, the Worlds No.1 small launch vehicle. The team comprises of 10 Engineers with the following core competencies: Mechanical design Development & Test Analysis Configuration control Project engineering ABOUT THE ROLE This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of Electron.

Rocket experience is always welcome but dont worry if your background is from industrial, aerospace, automotive, medical or any other field. As long as you have a strong grounding, we will teach you the rest. You will be involved in all aspects of the Electron rocket design including: Components (valves, actuators, tanks, structures) Pneumatic and fluid systems Propulsion Payload structures And launch day support. KEY SKILLS Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering and a t least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following core competencie.
