In this role, you will report to the Delivery Manager - Construction and be based in New Plymouth, in the beautiful Taranaki area.
Your top priority will be the safety of yourself and those around you. You will also be responsible for: - Complete WTC competency assessments and perform competent audits as well as quality checks - Ensure plant and equipment are compliance with good working order and fit for purpose by completing toolbox checks - Complete necessary reports and ensure to meet and exceed with all operational, regulatory and customer requirements. To succeed in this role, its essential to have the following: - Assist with work plans and complete necessary field paperwork - Relevant trade qualification with current practising licences, plus knowledge of Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, and the Safe Manual Electricity Industry (SE-MI) - Current Workplace Competency (WTC) with proven team leadership skills - A clean full NZ drivers licence (Class 2) is preferred - Ability to organise your workload and your teams to meet goals - Proactively promote a safety culture in line with legislation and company procedures - Strong interpersonal skills and technical aptitude - Excellent verbal and written communication - Commitment to health and safety, with a positive attitude and team spirit.
