You will be leading a team of planners to delivery Resource Consent Applications, including Strategic and Construction consents Lead the drive towards excellence across Watercare's consenting functions. Ensuring effective project management practices. Improving consent delivery processes with consultant partners and regulators. Driving continuous improvement, best practice and innovation and grow technical excellence across Resource Consent delivery.
Overseeing Watercare's Kaitiaki Engagement process to strengthen relationships and enhance collaboration with Kaitiaki groups. Your skills and background must include: A relevant tertiary qualification.
Extensive experience in the discipline of resource management/consent planning. A proven track record of managing teams or project managing complex resource consent projects and obtaining resource consents and other statutory approvals. Full membership of the New Zealand Planning Institute.
