Your Role: Technical Advisor Youll be the technical expert, actively working on vehicles while guiding your team and supporting customers.
From complex diagnostics to workshop coordination and mentoring, youll be the key link between high-quality repair and excellent service. What Youll Be Doing: Providing technical advice and support to customers and team members Actively performing diagnostic and repair work on customer vehicles Responding to enquiries via phone, email, and live chat Coordinating daily workshop operations and technician workflow Conducting services and mechanical repairs to OEM standards Using advanced diagnostic tools and staying up to date with new tech Mentoring junior technicians and fostering a collaborative environment Keeping accurate service records and working closely with the admin/parts team What Youll Bring: NZ Trade Qualification in Automotive (Level 4) Strong diagnostics and mechanical repair experience Current WOF Authority (or eligibility to obtain it) Excellent communication skills and a friendly customer-first approach Experience in day-to-day workshop coordination Resilience and professionalism under pressure Work collaboratively with customer service team, technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate diagnosis and resolution of vehicle issues Basic Excel proficiency; DMS/CRM experience is a bonus Whats In It for You?
