Explore more on Cubic.com. Job Details: Job Overview: As a Test Lead for the NZ NTS Project, you will be responsible for working with the Test Manager and supporting the delivery of testing activities throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Your primary goal will be to ensure that the new system is implemented successfully, meeting all functional and performance requirements. Your focus area will be device testing ensuring verification and validation of embedded software builds, System Integration Testing, UAT testing, and supporting customer releases. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of testing methodologies and system implementation processes.

Key Responsibilities: Testing Strategy and Planning: Assist in the development a comprehensive test strategy and plan for the system implementation project. Define test objectives, scope, and criteria for success. Test Management: Oversee the execution of assigned testing activities, including functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Manage the test environment(s) and ensure it is configured correctly for testing activities. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support. Allocate tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of testing activities.

Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. Quality Assurance: Ensure the system implementation meets quality standards and requirements. Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.

Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks where applicable. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Test Manager, project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations. Communicate testing progress, issues, and results to stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Generate reports on testing activities, including metrics and key performance indicators. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to testing and system implementation.

Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing practices. Stay current with industry tren.
