Job Title: Test Manager Location: Auckland (South east of city centre) Duration: ASAP to December 2025 Summary: We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role and over 10 years in testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collaborating with business users to develop comprehensive test plans, ensuring seamless coordination, and oversight of the project test environment. This role will primarily involve managing the testing process, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring the smooth delivery of testing activities, while delegating hands-on testing to the broader testing capability.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test strategies, plans, schedules, and cases in collaboration with business stakeholders. Coordinate test activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. Provide oversight of the project test environment, ensuring it is properly set up, maintained, and monitored.

Delegate and coordinate hands-on testing tasks to the broader testing capability. Lead and support the testing team by providing direction and ensuring appropriate resources are allocated to each phase of the testing cycle. Ensure quality assurance processes align with industry standards and best practices.

Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies related to testing activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into overall project planning and execution. Monitor and report on testing progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Key Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Test Manager or similar role. Extensive experience in developing and executing test plans, strategies, and schedules.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence teams and stakeholders. Solid understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience in managing test environments and coordinating cross-functional testing activities.

Ability to manage and delegate tasks to a team of testers. Certification in testing (e.g.

, ISTQB) is preferred. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is advantageous. Benefits: Flexible work environment with potential for remote work: 3 days in the office and 2 days Work from home.
