Introduction M te Tranga | About the Role We are seeking to fill a part time position of 34 hours per fortnight within our Support Services team. The hours and days of work will be Monday 4pm 10.45pm, Thursday 4pm 10.

45pm and Friday 4.00pm 8.30pm.

Description Compassion, attention to detail, adherence to process and efficiency are key attributes for the successful candidate. Some of the requirements of the role are to: Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the hospital, such as dusting, sanitizing, and disinfecting surfaces and equipment. Collect and dispose of rubbish on a daily basis.

Clean theatres according to infection control and safety protocols. Operate a ride-on scrubber to clean and mop large areas and corridors, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene. Move equipment and furniture when needed, following manual handling and lifting procedures.

Participate in relevant education sessions. Please be aware cleaning theatres post surgeries, you may possibly be exposed to minimal blood and bone fragments.
