T Ora Compass Health is a leading Primary Health Organisation committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our communities through innovation, collaboration, and equity-focused care. We are looking for a passionate and organised Therapeutic Groups Coordinator to support our mental health services in Wellington. This is a part-time (20 hours/week), fixed-term role for 12 months , ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to making a real impact in peoples lives.
About the Role Youll play a key role in coordinating, facilitating and refining our current suite of therapeutic groups, as well as researching and assessing the need for any future therapy groups we choose to adopt. Triaging referrals and having the ability to build and maintain relationships with other teams and community services, will also be an important part of this role. Key Responsibilities Coordinate, Facilitate and refine our current suite of therapeutic groups Manage and maintain group therapy referrals in a timely and efficient manner.
Communicate clearly with clients to ensure they understand the service and what to expect. Support clinical decision-making and ensure referrals meet service criteria. Maintain accurate documentation including client notes, feedback, audits, and reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with General Practice teams, health professionals, and community services. Research and assess (using data) the need for any future groups that we add to our current suite of groups. What Were Looking For Strong administration skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills across diverse communities and services. Confidence in supporting sound clinical judgements and reviewing performance outcomes. A commitment to equity, client rights, and high-quality service delivery.
