About the role As a trainee Arborist, you will learn and develop the skills needed to become a safe and successful Arborist and your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Assisting the team with maintenance of trees and shrubs Learn how to climb trees using ropes and harnesses Operate equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders Gain knowledge in tree identification, disease diagnosis and pest control Learn health and safety practices ensuring you work safely on site Attend training sessions when required to develop your knowledge Who we are looking for Previous experience in the field is not required. If you are a hard worker, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors include: Be willing to learn and commit to training A current full drivers' licence with the ability to drive a manual, class 2 would be very advantageous!
