To continue the great work the team is completing, we are now looking for a reliable individual to join our small but mighty team as a Vegetation Control Operator. What does a Vegetation Control Operator do? Simply put, youll play a key role in controlling vegetation and eradicating pest plants across the districts parks, reserves, and roadsides.

Your daily tasks will include: Applying herbicides and carrying out chemical spraying Removing weeds manually Operating spray equipment and machinery Keeping a spray diary up-to-date Supporting other teams when needed were all about pitching in to get the job done What are we looking for? Experience in pest plant management is a bonus, but not essential. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and dont mind getting your hands dirty, you could be a great fit Were looking for someone who has: A current full drivers licence (manual preferred) A Growsafe Certificate or a willingness to get one (well help you) A team-oriented attitude being a great teammate should come naturally A safety-focused mindset ensuring the well-being of yourself, your team, and the public Basic computer and smartphone skills handy for job tracking and communication Good physical fitness the role involves walking, lifting, and working in various weather conditions What Can We Offer?
