We are looking for an experienced Water Maintenance Technician to join our Water Infrastructure Maintenance tea m.

Day to day you will be completing repairs and maintenance of existing water mains, service lines, hydrants and tobies with our existing water crews throughout the network. In addition to the above you may undertake: Connections on both commercial and residential properties including backflow preventers installation Undertake pipe installations installation and maintenance using small and large plant equipment Pressure testing and sterilising of new mains before connection to existing networks Installation of valves, hydrants and associated water main fittings This role will require some flexibility as there is some overtime and optional weekend work when required Good Work equals Good Benefits Time and a half after 8 hours per day KiwiSaver employer contributions Fuel discount card Parental leave top-up payment with additional return to work support Family scholarships Ongoing training and development, career growth and progression opportunities Great discounts at a wide range of retailers Medical insurance Life insurance At Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us. Were looking for someone with: Minimum full class 2 licence Must have minimum of Level 3 Water Qualification or working towards it Experience with PE pipe works (pipe welding) is an advantage Experience working within 3 Waters maintenance Strong interpersonal and communication skills Be a self-motivated and friendly team player Be fit and able to get hands on and get the work done A commitment to your safety and the safety of others Creating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
