Welder/Fabricator Site Installations Focus Location: Christchurch City, Canterbury Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Hours: Guaranteed 45 hours/week (MondayFriday) A busy Christchurch-based engineering workshop is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator with strong skills in site installations . This role offers a steady workload, variety, and the opportunity to take ownership of projects on-site. What Youll Be Doing: Fabrication and modification of gantry/goliath cranes, structural steel, architectural metalwork, and general engineering Site installation of steel structures and on-site problem-solving for long-term clients Working independently and liaising with builders and other trades What Were Looking For: 5 years' experience in fabrication, steel erection, and site work Proficient in FCAW, MMAW, GMAW; some GTAW Full drivers licence (Class 2 preferred support available to obtain) Hiab ticket required Site Safe, EWP, and Working at Heights tickets are an advantage Reliable, self-motivated, and drug/alcohol-free Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand (not part of AEWV scheme) Ready to take the next step?
