Our domain exists to serve our colleagues well, providing them with the tools and technology they need so they can in turn serve our customers and communities well. Our energised and engaged device management team is expanding to deliver on an ambitious modernisation strategy, and we need an end user computing specialist to join us. This position is Wellington based and is a hybrid role with two days where you can work flexibly.

M te Tranga | About the Role We sat down with the Workplace Tech team, and they told us the following about the role: What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Contribute to team standups, backlog refinements and sprint planning Troubleshoot escalated tickets from colleagues Assist your team in delivering initiatives and key priorities Identify and raise opportunities for improvement Contribute to the resolution of incidents What projects / work will the candidate be working on now and into the next year? We have an exciting stream of modernisation work this year, including: Migration of our Windows fleet to Intune management, exiting legacy SCCM and Windows 10 Modernising the way we do the fundamentals like OS patching Replacing our virtual desktop infrastructure Alongside these initiatives, we are focused on getting the basics right, which means staying on top of system health and continuing to remove friction from our colleagues tech experience. What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? This is a brand new role in our expanding team, supporting our modernisation journey with a strong work ethic and a passion for workplace technology that will carry us into the future. What technical skills are REQUIRED for this role? Our End User Computing teams look after our fleet of Mac and Windows machines including operating systems and the desktop installed apps, and mobile devices and their applications.

You'll need to be comfortable with Intune, Systems Centre Configuration Manager, and Windows 10/Windows 11 at a minimum. Windows365, JAMF and Mac experience would be highly beneficial.
