We are seeking a Workplace Trainer/ Assessor to identify, outline and deliver the training requirements of our front-line workforce.
You will facilitate training, deliver ongoing support and mentorship for front-line employees, and assist in developing training resources for Downer front-line leaders and field staff. This role has the ability to make a positive impact on the business, and ensure strong foundations and best practices for achieving the desired outcomes. This opportunity would suit some with experience in civil works disciplines, who has a passion for training.
Your day to day will include: Assisting with training needs analyses for front-line crews and front-line leaders. Working with front-line employees in your area to deliver training, coaching, and mentoring to meet the identified training and development needs. Promoting enrolment into industry qualification training to front-line employees and provide learning and assessment support for trainees and apprentices in your area.
Running regular onboarding/induction workshops in your area, to meet the needs of new employees. Helping to identify and develop Downer core skill standards and assess these and Plant Competencies for front-line employees in your area. Providing mentoring and support for front-line leaders in your area.
Assisting with developing and delivering communication and leadership training for front-line leaders.
