The skills required Ability to work to a high standard Relevant NZ National Certificate in Collision Repair or Automotive Refinishing or offshore equivalent Prior collision repairs and automotive refinishing experience While experience across both skills is preferred, either or is of consideration Prior supervisory skills are essential Willingness to relocate - while it would be ideal for applicants to live in New Zealand already, the employer is accredited with Immigration NZ and would also consider candidates requiring a Work Visa or Visa Variation The role Supervising a medium sized and growing team, this role involves both hands on productive work either in the capacity of an automotive refinisher or collision repairer, or ideally a person competent across both trades. You would work closely alongside the company owner and be a fair minded and capable supervisor. Your trade skills are required to be of a high standard, so too your communication skills and ability to deal directly with customers and suppliers where needed and to step up where required.
Remuneration and benefits $48.50 per hour with potential additional bonuses and other benefits to be discussed. The employer is seeking a quality hire and a person who can be relied upon to help run the facility in his absence.
